If you participate in any ride listed on these pages, you must consider that you are on a private cycle ride with friends and that you are responsible for your own safety and roadcraft. You must read and comply with the Guidelines and the Code of Conduct. The Cyclists' Touring Club, its Officers, Committee members, servants or agents shall not be liable for any expense, loss, claim or proceedings in respect of personal injury, death or disease to any person or loss or damage to any property from whatsoever nature and whether or not due to any negligence of the Cyclists' Touring Club, its Officers, Committee members, servants or Agents.

Some members of Wessex CTC administer routes which can be ridden at any time of the year. Known as “Permanents”, these rides are part of a National network of similar rides controlled under the regulations of Audax UK and are eligible for points under the AUK scheme. To enter any of these events please contact the organiser first to arrange the date of your ride and send an approved entry form with the requested fee when asked. You will be issued with a “Brevet Card” which you must return to the organiser afterwards to obtain your validation.
