If you participate in any ride listed on these pages, you must consider that you are on a private cycle ride with friends and that you are responsible for your own safety and roadcraft. The Cyclists' Touring Club, its Officers, Committee members, servants or agents shall not be liable for any expense, loss, claim or proceedings in respect of personal injury, death or disease to any person or loss or damage to any property from whatsoever nature and whether or not due to any negligence of the Cyclists' Touring Club, its Officers, Committee members, servants or Agents.
BLACKMORE VALE SECTION
Blackmore Vale Section is a friendly and traditional group based on South Somerset and North Dorset.
Most rides will be between 25 and 30 miles, plus the distance to the meeting place. The rides are free. Hence no liabilities can be accepted, no support is available and the participants must be self sufficient. Tool kit, puncture repair outfit, spare inner tube, pump, detailed map of the area, wet weather gear, gloves, spare clothing, drink and food must be carried. Most rides meet at 10:00 am for coffee & cake departing at 10:30am.
Non-members are welcome, but must become a member before attending their fourth ride. The rides are not for vulnerable adults or those under 18 years of age.
