BOURNEMOUTH SQUARE
200km Audax Randonnée
Sunday 21st September 2008

The ride will start at Bournemouth Square at 8am and head along the seafront to Hamworthy bridge and on past Wareham to the Top of the Town cafe in Dorchester for breakfast.. Then  north Milborne Port to Bruton for lunch at the Sun Inn. From the route climbs to Maiden Bradley then through Longbridge Deverill and along the Wylie Valley before crossing the A36 at Stoford and going over the hill to Woodford. From there, it's south through Salisbury and through the New Forest skirting Ringwood for a final checkpoint at Christchurch before heading back along the prom to the Square.

This event is organised under the regulations of Audax UK. and registered internationally. You receive a brevet card upon which the times you pass through controls are recorded or information control questions must be answered. At the end, sign and hand in your card.

The Audax philosophy is one of self-reliance. Rides should be treated as private excursions and the organisers are responsible only for providing routes and time checks. The route has been ridden by cyclists. A detailed route sheet will be provided but routes are not signed and navigation is the responsibility of riders.

Entry:
£4 in advance plus £2.00 temporary third party insurance (If not a CTC or AUK member).

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.
