Final Details……

Route: a looping route to Axminster, then a looping route to Crediton. Both legs have info controls aplenty. The route then notches up a gear with a headbanging transection of South Devon to Dawlish for a picnic on the beach. Lots of coastal scenery passed en route to Seaton. Then back into Dorset via the Marshwood Vale. Lots of hills and minor roads to entertain you – in true Wessex Series style. You may need maximum time, so come prepared.

Controls: (the café’s are expecting us – be patient if busy)
Axminster Station Café opens 8am – cooked breakfast & bread pud
Crediton Station Café – good cakes & snacks
Dawlish - Co-oP near the sea. Seats by the beach under railway bridge
Seaton – Harbour Rd has takeaways & shops
Bridport – Supermarket Garage open till 10pm

Start: 1 Church Cottage, West Stafford, Dorchester DT2 8AB. Please park considerately. Bike access down rear drive.
There is a lawn for small tents (beware cats), and floor/beds available before & after the ride (bring sleeping bag/mat). Toast/cereal from 4am & hot food at end. Please let me know approximate time of arrival.
